Kirby D. Cochran, has been a director at Broadcast International (www.brin.com) since February 2006. For over 20 years, Salt Lake City based Broadcast International has provided video-powered content delivery/development solutions that enable appropriate client audiences to recieve communications and learning where and when it is needed. Mr.Cochran has extensive knowledge and experience investing in and developing growth, emerging growth and established operating companies. Offering expertise in capital formation, due diligence, financial structures, operational and process strategies for growth companies, Mr. Cochran has closely consulted and/or participated in the funding and development of over 100 businesses throughout his career.
Mr.Cochran has raised and been responsible for over a billion dollars of investment in start up/growth companies and has developed proprietary models to fund young companies via a number of debt and equity instruments. Mr. Cochran has raised and co-managed six different venture capital funds and developed strategies for hedging micro-cap stocks. Mr. Cochran has been an executive officer and board member of a number of public and private companies and is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Member of The Board of Directors of Castle Arch Real Estate Investment Company, L.L.C., a land acquisition and development company.
From May 1999 to Present, Mr. Cochran has taught graduate school, at the David Eccles School of business at the University of Utah, as an adjunct professor in the Business and Finance Departments. Mr. Cochran holds a Masters in Business Administration Degree from North Dakota State University. |
